My Contribution Project
This project is part of the WordPress Credits program at Universidad Fidélitas. Its purpose is to make a verifiable contribution to the WordPress community and document the process in this portfolio.
Contribution Area
My selected contribution area, approved by my mentor, is Polyglots, focusing on Costa Rican Spanish (es_CR). My work will concentrate on WooCommerce, an e-commerce tool for WordPress.
I chose this area because it combines my interests in technology and business with the opportunity to make digital tools more accessible in our language.
Expected Scope
My goal is to work on 100 WooCommerce translation strings for Costa Rican Spanish, following the scope established for my project.
I will review the context of each string and aim to use clear language and consistent terminology. My suggested translations will be subject to review and approval by the community’s translation editors.
Documentation and Evidence
I will keep a record of the strings I work on, their links, and their review status. I will also publish reflections on my learning experiences and challenges, and keep my personal tracking form up to date.
Expected Outcome
I hope to help improve the experience of people using WooCommerce in Costa Rica while developing my translation, documentation, and open-source collaboration skills.
